40 Minutes for Health Reform: National Faith Community Call to Action with special guest President Obama

With the news that 45,000 people in the US die each year because they lack health insurance, it's clear we can't wait any longer for reform. We need to keep up the momentum in Washington. People of faith are leading a national campaign for health care reform. We've held hundreds of prayer vigils and in-district events. We've signed petitions, writen our representatives, organized a nationwide conference call for people of faith, and aired a national TV ad –all to say the faith community supports health care reform. It has been a busy 40 days, but we need your help to keep the momentum. There are so many ways to get involved – will you commit to joining our campaign? Listen to 40 Mins. As a person of faith, I support health care reform, and I'm tired of shouting, disruptions and distortions preventing an honest debate.

Over the next 40 days, I commit to doing my part as a person of faith to promote health care reform. I commit to taking actions like writing my representatives, attending events, and telling my friends about our efforts to make the faith community a positive force for health care reform.
